HIGH DENSITY SLAB
High rise slabs have populated Santiago’s central areas and along main transportation arteries. These have grown as ad hoc extrusions, offset from adjoined plots of the city grid. Plots are completely privatised, some include small commercial fronts towards the street. Left over areas of the plot are landscaped. Some buildings include amenities on the higher floors like laundry rooms, swimming pools, living rooms. Underground levels have parking and storage rooms. One or two central cores lead to minimal corridors and different sizes of apartments on every level.
