PRIVATE ALLEY
This type is prevalent in central suburban areas of middle and middle-high income. With an urban grid of deep blocks, as its historical predecessor, the cité, it has proliferated as an adequate infill in low density areas. Houses and their fenced private backyards are arranged along a linear private alley perpendicular to the street, which allows car access and parking. In general, units are identical, with variations on the end ones. Some rare versions present 1 and 2 story rows stacked on top of one another.
